Welcome to Tamiyasu Orchards
We grow certified organic cherries, pears and apples, blueberries, table grapes, plums, pluots, apricots and some conventionally grown pears, which we send to the local packing house for distribution worldwide.
We are committed to bringing the freshest tree-ripened fruit to markets in the Portland metropolitan area. Our booths can be found brimming with cherries in July, along with other fruits as they come into season. 
Our growing practices are certified organic by Oregon Tilth, and we use integrative pest management to minimize any pesticide use. We utilize cover crops for green mulch and to enhance the soil naturally.
Our farm hosts volunteers through WWOOF (World wide Organization of Organic Farms) helping to educate people who want hands on work experience and knowledge about growing food. In the future, we hope to offer an afternoon of jam-making or pie-making using our fresh, delicious, organic fruit. Yoga classes and meditation classes will also be offered in our new wellness and retreat center located on site. With so many outdoor recreational offerings here in Hood River Valley, you might want to come out for an afternoon, day or even a weekend and take a mini-vacation enjoying a large variety of activities for the whole family.
